Originally established by Sue Chatterley, 'The Samares Manor Soap Shop' was based at Samares Manor in St Clement (Jersey).
Moving to The Harbour Gallery (St Aubin) in 2006, the name was changed to 'The Jersey Soap Shop' or just
'Jersey Soap'.
The range of natural,
handmade soaps
we produce has been refined over the last few years, although our Au Natrel (non perfumed, colour free soaps) are still the most popular.
In 2008 we launched our website, offering our most popular products. At the same time we revised our
packaging to produce more attractive gift wrapping, while ensuring that we made use of the most environmentally friendly packaging available.
In addition to pre-packaged products for sale, we also run craft workshops
at a venue
of your choice, or here in the Harbour Gallery,
which included Soap Painting, Soap Carving and even
making Soap on a Rope! These are great fun and suitable for adults and children of all ages.

Mark also sells other items which you will need if you want to start making your own

With a keen eye for design and detail, Mark also undertakes jewellery commissions
