Is your packaging recyclable or biodegradable?
We are committed to ensuring that as we update our product packaging, we pick the most environmentally responsible options which we are able to use without compromising on the quality and functionality of our packaging.
How does the ordering process work?
It's very simple, or at least we hope so - ideally the hardest thing you will have to do is to decide which of our great products you want to buy! Browse or search through our catalogue, and add the products you wish to purchase to your basket. Then select "Go To Checkout" from the basket. In our Personalise your own section, you will be guided through a short sequence of easy to follow steps to design your item and complete your purchase. The website will then ask you to enter your address details and forward you to PayPal so that you can pay for your order. Once payment has been completed, you will receive an email confirming your order. Thats it! So what are you waiting for?
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept payment by PayPal, which covers most commonly used credit and debit cards as well as PayPal accounts. However, we do not accept payment by cash, cheque or postal order, and apologise for any inconvenience which this may cause. If you would like to place a large order, and would like information on wholesale rates, and invoicing, please contact us directly.
Do I have to create an account?
Absolutely not. We offer customers the opportunity to create an account as this allows us to store their address details, and send updates when we post new products or make other improvements to our website - so we would advise you to register - but you are more than welcome to place an order without doing so.
Why don't I have to pay VAT? Is it hidden in the prices?
Because we are based in Jersey, we are permitted to despatch items with a value of less than £18.00 to the UK without them incurring VAT. We package large orders in such a way as to take advantage of this, and do not currently stock any single item over this value. Our prices are genuine Jersey VAT-Free retail prices and have not been inflated to "hide" VAT.
Do I have to pay GST? Will it be added on at Check-Out?
No. Don't worry. There is currently talk of GST exemption for online purchases, which we are investigating, but in any case, if GST is liable on your purchase, we will absorb the cost, without inflating our prices to accomodate it.
I think my order may have been incorrectly billed
We use a system of checks and balances to prevent as many issues with billing as possible (for example, our payment provider will automatically decline any duplicated transactions), however, should you believe that your order has been incorrectly charged, please contact us immediately, and we will investigate straight away.
I am interested in placing a wholesale order, what should I do?
The first thing which you need to do is to contact us. We do offer the facility to handle wholesale orders, including price breaks based on minimum order levels, however, we would need to ascertain your exact requirements, as we deal with this sort of order offline, rather than through this website. Not all products are available for bulk purchase, although the majority are. Please note that we do not currently operate any form of sale or return scheme.
Are you able to produce bespoke or customised items?
The short answer is "yes". We are able to produce bespoke and/or customised items, however, some restrictions apply.
I'm looking for something special as a wedding favour, can you help?
Then why not get in touch? We can be quite flexible when dealing with a reasonably large order, e.g. for wedding favours, we can offer our range of personalised gifts or you may have an idea that we can discuss with you.
How will my order be delivered?
Currently, we send all our orders via Jersey Post (delivered by Royal Mail in the UK), 1st class delivery or parcel post, depending upon the weight of the packages. We feel that this offers the best value for money for our customers, but are always looking into possible alternatives. The only down-side is that we are unable to guarantee a delivery date or time. If your delivery address is in Jersey, and your order is above the threshold which we have set for free local delivery (currently £15.00), we will contact you once we have processed your order, and arrange a convenient date/time to deliver the goods to you.
Do you offer Next Day or Express delivery?
Sorry, but we don't currently offer any special delivery options. We are looking into this, however. If you qualify for free local delivery, we will always try to arrange this as soon as possible, and if you have a special requirement and are based in Jersey, we would suggest that you contact us prior to placing your order.
I couldn't find my Country in this list, do you deliver here?
The first thing you will need to do in this case is to contact us prior to placing your order - then we can confirm that delivery is available to your location, and add your country to our website.
My order hasn't arrived yet
Disaster! Because we use Jersey Post and Royal Mail, it is difficult for us to guarantee delivery times - also, occasionally issues arise with goods which are sent from Jersey, due to the customs inspections which can take place - although these will not prevent goods from reaching their destination, delays can sometimes occur. That said, if you received a dispatch notification from us, and more than a week has passed without your goods arriving, please contact us so that we can hunt down your errant purchases. If possible, please try to find out the name of your local postal sorting office, as we may need to chase matters up with them directly.
Do you accept returns on any items?
Sadly, at the moment, we do not accept returns, however, if you feel that the goods you have ordered are not up-to scratch, please contact us as we tend to assess situations on a case-by-case basis.
Is it really safe to shop online?
As long as you're careful, of course! Make sure the sites you use are secure (we are!) and don't enter any sensitive information if you have doubts as to what will be done with it. We are very careful with your information and do our best to protect you at all times while you are using our site.
How is my information protected on this website?
Our entire site is protected by 128-bit SSL encryption, via a certificate issued from Comodo. This prevents any 3rd party from "listening in" to information sent back and forth between your computer and our servers.
What will you do with my information once I have ordered?
We will store your email address against the details of your order, so that we can contact you in the event of any problems arising (and of course, we will keep note of the delivery address!) - we will not use this information for any other purpose. We do not track any other information, as we use a secure payment gateway to take your payment - card details are never saved on our servers. If you register for an account, we will store the details which you are asked for during registration, and use them to ease your shopping experiences in the future, and (if you opt-in to our newsletter), to notify you of changes to our product catalogue and website. I'm having a technical problem with your website
Uh oh! Well, don't despair. All errors which occur within our site are automatically logged and sent by email so that they can be further investigated. However, if a technical issue is preventing you from ordering, please feel free to contact us directly so that we can look into the problem. If you were logged in to our site when an error occurred, we may contact you by email in order to obtain further information about the problem which you encountered, or to advise you that the issue has now been resolved.
I cannot find my country on your site
Ah. Well. Unfortunately, at the moment, we only dispatch goods to a limited range of countries for online orders. However, if you contact us directly, we would be more than happy to process your order manually - we will also make note of your custom, and prioritise adding support for your country of residence to our site!
